[2015.12.10] Exhibited at KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2015《16th KEIO TECHNO-MALL》
We exhibited at “KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2015” (16th KEIO TECHNO-MALL) held by Keio Leading-edge Laboratory of Science and Technology (KLL) on December 4 (fri), with Tetsuya Suzuki Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University. This KEIO TECHNO-MALL, held at Tokyo International Forum in December every year, is an event to widely transmit the research results conducted by Keio University Faculty of Science and Technology, and the School of Science and Technology, as well as to provide a meeting place for opportunities of cooperation with universities and government organizations for collaborative researches, technology transfers, and so on. At exhibition booths, teaching staff and students of each laboratory give presentations of their research results to visitors by exhibiting actual units and demonstrations.

Exhibition Theme |
Development of an atomization disk using vapor phase composition diamond films |
Exhibited Unit |
Nano-Fuel Super Atomization Unit |
Overview |
A microporous disk is used as the heart of a particle processing for an atomization unit which contributes to improve fuel mileage and so on. However, a conventional single-crystal diamond disk is expensive, and therefore the cost reduction is a problem to be solved. For the purpose of the cost reduction, our laboratory has developed ceramic discs coated with diamond films. |
